Dr. Lamisa Ashraf from Dhaka, Bangladesh was born on December 5, 1993. She completed her ‘O’ level from Sunnydale School. Throughout her school life she has been a hard working student. She completed her ‘A’ level from Mastermind School. It was her childhood dream to become a Doctor. She got admitted into Dhaka National Medical College in 2012 as student of N18 (Session: 2011 – 2012) and achieved her MBBS degree in 2017. She was one of the topmost student in her class. After completing her MBBS degree during her internship, she decided to build her carrier as Public Health specialist and applied for MPH degree from universities abroad. She got offer from University of New-York and John Hopkins Bloomberg school of public health of USA. As John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is the famous university of medical science in the world, she choose this institution for her higher study. John Hopkins Bloomberg school of public health addressed her as an “outstanding candidate for this school’s MPH program” in their offer letter. At present she is a student of MPH (Epidemiology) at John Hopkins University (Session: 2018 – 2019). We congratulate Dr. Lamisa Ashraf for her achievement.
